Teller (Float)

FirstBank Tellers are the first point of contact for customers, delivering service excellence while processing transactions, answering inquiries, and identifying cross-sell opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with transactions and basic inquiries (balances, history, fees, rates) following bank policies and service standards.
• Maintain daily operational standards: secure cash drawer, balance cash, capture items, identify counterfeit currency, count/roll coins, balance ATM, stock teller station supplies.
• Educate customers on bank products, services, and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM).
• Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate bank partners for cross-sell or service opportunities.
• Mitigate risk by adhering to bank procedures and confidentiality guidelines (CTRs, SARs, Reg CC holds, robbery protocols, fraud prevention).
• Deliver consistent, distinctive FirstBank service to all customers.
• Follow safe and sound bank procedures, including laws, regulations, internal controls, and security protocols.
• Regular attendance and performance of other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Basic computer and math skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than two years of experience.
• Must be bondable within the first six months of employment.
