Key Responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash checks, and transfers
- Aid and educate members on the use of online accounts, mobile banking, and other remote channels
- Handle ITM/ATM transactions and inquiries
- Build positive member relationships by identifying needs and recommending products/services
- Proactively use fraud-detection resources to identify suspicious activity, protect member assets, and uphold credit union integrity
- Resolve routine member concerns and issues with professionalism, patience, and efficiency
- Foster a fun and collaborative environment to service members, grow relationships, and engage with peers
Qualifications
- One month to one year experience, preferably in a credit union or financial setting
- High School Diploma or GED
- Passionate about exceptional member service and relationship building
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with banking systems, digital tools, and Microsoft Office products
Employment Details
- Location: HRCCU Cohoes Branch
- Training may be completed at other HRCCU branch locations requiring local travel
- Payrate: $20.00-$24.00, based on experience, qualifications, and skills
- Status: Hourly, full-time, 36-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with Saturday shift rotation
