Schedule
- Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Operate a customer service window to provide exceptional service on a variety of transactions.
- Suggest solutions and options to customers; refer customers to appropriate areas of the bank.
- Resolve customer problems, issues, or concerns accurately and efficiently.
- Develop a strong knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and products/services.
- Maintain a balancing rate of 85% in accordance with Retail Policies and Procedure manual.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Consumer Bank Customer Service Standards and deliver exceptional service as measured by Customer Insight surveys.
- Execute transactions accurately and efficiently, including:
- Verifying customer identities and authenticity of transactions to prevent fraud.
- Accepting deposits, verifying endorsements, and issuing receipts.
- Cashing checks, verifying endorsements and balances, and referring customers to management when needed.
- Processing savings deposits and withdrawals.
- Providing services such as bank money orders and other customer requests.
- Accepting loan payments and other types of payments.
- Balancing cash drawer daily.
- Assisting with ATM and vault balancing as needed.
- Promote bank services, answer customer questions, and direct customers to specialized services.
- Identify customer needs and profile customers for additional services to expand relationships.
- Contribute to branch goals, sales, and service standards as outlined in the branch playbook.
- Execute professional sales and service behaviors aligned with the bank’s purpose, values, and core drivers.
- Track customer introductions to bankers using the Sales & Service Opportunity tool.
- Provide services including night deposits, mail deposits, and safe deposit admittance as needed.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and contribute to branch growth by generating leads for Personal Bankers.
- Collaborate effectively with all bank employees, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Attend and complete required training (virtual, in-person, online BVS, etc.).
- Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent basic academic education.
- One to two years of general experience and successful completion of the retail training program.
Physical Demands
- Operates a keypad device: 70% of the day.
- Operates electronic and office equipment: 20% of the day.
- Standing: 2 hours per day in a straight position.
- Sitting: 5 hours per day in a leaning position.
- Routinely lifts up to 10 lbs., 2 times per day; maximum lift is 20 lbs., one time per day.
- Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity for typing and data entry: up to 40% of the business day.
- Close vision (18”-20”) for computer work.

Pay
Salary Range: $16.00 - $22.56 per hour
