This Full Time Teller role is based in Paw Paw, Michigan at the Paw Paw Branch. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

About the role

Delivers a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. Processes a variety of customer interactions and educates customers on alternatives available for their financial needs.

• Identifies banking opportunities during customer interactions and makes appropriate referrals to branch staff.
• Performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
• Educates customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
• Applies product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
• Ensures teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.

PNC employees are expected to be customer-focused, knowledgeable of practices that align customer needs with solutions, and skilled in managing risk while adhering to PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Qualifications

• No university/college degree required; a high school diploma, GED, or comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience (including military service) may be considered.
• Prior experience is not required.
• Preferred skills: Accountability, Banking, Client Loyalty, Customer Experience (CX), Customer Service, Identifying Opportunities, Leveraging Technology, Proactive Sales.
• Preferred competencies: Accuracy and Attention to Detail, Addressing Customer Needs, Banking Products, Digital Awareness, Effective Communications, Fraud Detection and Prevention, Managing Multiple Priorities, Matrix Management, Problem Solving, Understanding Customer Needs.
• Spanish-speaking ability is preferred.
