Teller

FirstBank Tellers are the first point of contact for customers, delivering service excellence while processing transactions, answering inquiries, and identifying cross-sell opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with transactions and basic inquiries (balances, history, fees, rates) following bank policies and service standards.
• Maintain daily operational standards: secure cash drawer, balance drawer/ATM, identify counterfeit currency, manage supplies, and handle coin counting.
• Educate customers on bank products, services, and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM).
• Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate bank partners for cross-sell or service opportunities.
• Mitigate risk by adhering to bank procedures (CTRs, SARs, Regulation CC holds, robbery protocols) and confidentiality guidelines.
• Deliver consistent, distinctive FirstBank service while following all security, compliance, and operational procedures.
• Exhibit foundational knowledge of banking regulations and FirstBank-specific policies.
• Regular attendance and performance of additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than two years of relevant experience.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Must be bondable within the first six months of employment.
