Essential Duties

• Operates a cash drawer/cash dispensing machine on all types of teller transactions.
• Verifies completeness of all documentation and enters transaction in terminal.
• Balances cash at established times and balances entries to the system and prepares transmittal of work according to daily procedures.
• Understands opening and closing procedures and handles all member account inquiries.
• Responsible for meeting individual monthly, referral goals.
• Utilizes appropriate cross servicing techniques to provide potential/current members information regarding credit union products and services in a professional and courteous manner.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in PC skills and Microsoft Office.
• Maintain a high standard for accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide friendly, professional, accurate service and support to all members and staff.

Education and Experience

• One year of cash handling experience, six months of customer service and sales experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
