Responsibilities
- Deliver Legendary Service by greeting customers in-person and by phone and facilitating a welcoming and customer-focused environment.
- Accurately and efficiently process and record transactions for Bank customers including cashing checks, accepting deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments, and conducting money transfers.
- Maintain cash drawer within prescribed limits and verify and balance cash drawer daily.
- Identify and address cash offages, explore customer needs, offer relevant Bank products and services, and refer customers to appropriate business units for additional products and services.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, resolve problems or discrepancies with customer accounts, and demonstrate solid knowledge of fraud prevention and robbery guidelines.
- Contribute to meeting branch business goals, attend sales training and meetings, and incorporate sales program initiatives.
- Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory issues relating to teller and customer service areas, applying these regulations appropriately in day-to-day operations.
- May be assigned vault balancing responsibilities and assist others in the department or facility as needed and/or directed.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a customer service or banking environment preferred.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
