The Telepsychiatry program supports multiple Ascension facilities by providing virtual behavioral health services, helping improve access to psychiatric care across diverse patient populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the telepsychiatry program.
- Drive clinical excellence and behavioral health quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive and operational leadership to improve patient outcomes.
- Support physician engagement and clinical best practices.
- Lead the growth and expansion of virtual behavioral health services.
- Help shape the long-term direction of the telepsychiatry program.
- Identify opportunities to improve access to psychiatric care across the health system.
- Provide telepsychiatry services as part of a 50% clinical practice.
- Deliver high-quality psychiatric care across multiple Ascension facilities.
- Balance leadership responsibilities with direct patient care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
- Active physician licensure as required.
- Experience leading behavioral health or telepsychiatry programs preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Able to work effectively with executive, clinical, and operational stakeholders.
