Telemetry Technician - PRN - Nights - Cardiac Telemetry

Responsibilities
- Provide continual observation and documentation of electrocardiographic patterns of monitored patients.
- Correctly identify, interpret, and report heart rhythms and rates, notifying appropriate personnel of significant changes.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations by documenting rhythms during a code and notifying physicians and staff.
- Perform skilled clerical and receptionist duties.
- Communicate clearly and openly, building relationships to promote a collaborative environment.

Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Complete a basic dysrhythmia course with an acceptable score during orientation.
- Complete an annual recertification course in basic dysrhythmia with an acceptable score.
- At least 6 months of related work experience as a Telemetry (Monitor) Technician.
