About the role
WK Bossier is looking for a full-time Telemetry Technician to join the Centralized Monitoring team. This position offers night shifts (7P to 7A) in Shreveport, LA.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms with current knowledge
- Measure and document rhythms accurately
- Interact with patients to place or troubleshoot telemetry boxes for cardiac monitoring
Requirements
- Pass an EKG test (including heart blocks) with a minimum score of 80%
- Dependable, hardworking, and able to work well with others
Qualifications
An orientation period of approximately 5 weeks includes working with a preceptor to ensure proficiency in all job tasks.
