Telemetry Nurse - Full Time Nights

About the role

We are seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse (PCU/Step-Down/Tele RN) to provide comprehensive patient care in a small-format hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Manage high-acuity inpatient cases, including cardiac, hypertensive, and insulin infusions, with strong rhythm interpretation skills.
• Support patients requiring advanced respiratory therapies such as BiPAP and high-flow oxygen.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, telemedicine providers, and virtual platforms.
• Care for critically ill patients, including ventilated individuals awaiting transfer.
• Perform procedures, specimen collection, and adhere to infection control standards.
• Follow physician orders, maintain confidentiality, and ensure legal and institutional compliance.
• Participate in quality activities, staff meetings, and perform assigned tasks, supporting a team-focused environment committed to compassionate, individualized patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred).
• Current RN licensure without sanctions.
• Minimum 2 years full-time experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare roles.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (PALS preferred).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
