Telemetry Nurse (Full-Time, Night Shift)

About the Role

This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a small-format hospital setting, focusing on patient assessment, planning, and evaluation to ensure safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care by applying advanced clinical knowledge.
• Follow physicians' orders and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation, and aseptic techniques.
• Perform laboratory sample collection and testing per policies and regulations.
• Handle admissions, discharges, and transfers, and prepare equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Perform or assist with procedures, ensuring compliance with legal, hospital, and nursing standards.
• Participate in quality assessment activities and staff meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure without sanctions.
• At least 2 years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry, ICU, or related healthcare roles.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
