Telehealth Psychiatrist - Locum Tenens

About the role

This role involves providing outpatient telehealth psychiatric care, including intake and follow-up appointments, primarily for adult and pediatric patients with conditions such as anxiety, depression, and ADD.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 30-45 minute intake assessments and 15-30 minute follow-up sessions via telemedicine
• Manage ongoing psychiatric treatment using therapy and pharmacotherapy approaches
• Schedule and oversee own appointments within a flexible virtual setup
• Prior experience with telemedicine or virtual care preferred

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in outpatient psychiatric care, preferably child/adolescent psychiatry
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment

Pay

Competitive hourly rates from $185.00 to $220.00, inclusive of potential earnings like overtime and holiday pay
