Telehealth Physician

About the role

In this vital role, you will provide hands-on support in a telehealth setting, ensuring smooth clinical operations across diverse medical specialties. Your proactive approach and compassionate attitude will help deliver exceptional patient experiences while supporting healthcare providers with essential clinical and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients via appropriate channels (Async and/or Sync depending on state regulations)
• Deliver high standard quality medical care
• Review patient files and recommendations as needed to meet required standards of care and Company's quality assurance standards
• Issue such prescriptions or modify existing prescriptions based on review of patient files and as may be needed in your professional judgment
• Follow best practices and legal requirements for patient care
• Conduct visits utilizing EMR system
• Complete patient assessments, review lab diagnostics, and develop treatment plans
• Document care accurately in EMR systems

Requirements

• Valid license as a Physician in one or all of the following states: Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, Alabama
• Prior experience is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, and accurate documentation
• Proficiency with EHR systems
• Strong patient service skills with the ability to handle diverse populations
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced clinic and/or telehealth setting

Schedule

• 100% remote
• Schedule based on your time (can be as little as an hour per week or greater than 5 hours per week)
• Appointments are quick
