Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments to diagnose emotional and behavioral disorders using evidence-based practices. Collaborate closely with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, addressing goals and expected outcomes. Facilitate individual, couple, and group therapy sessions, providing a safe and supportive environment for open discussion and healing. Teach clients effective coping strategies and self-care techniques, empowering them to manage their mental health actively. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele ranging from adolescents to adults, encountering a wide array of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and grief. You will use your expertise to tailor your counseling approaches to the unique characteristics and needs of each client, fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages growth and recovery. Qualifications A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required. Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona is mandatory. Proven experience in providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and groups across various settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.
