About the role

Proactive Minds Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. As a pivotal member of our counseling staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to a diverse range of clients through innovative telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to diagnose emotional and behavioral disorders using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate closely with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, addressing goals and expected outcomes.
• Facilitate individual, couple, and group therapy sessions, providing a safe and supportive environment for open discussion and healing.
• Teach clients effective coping strategies and self-care techniques, empowering them to manage their mental health actively.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adapting treatment strategies based on their evolving needs.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to orchestrate comprehensive care for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
• Maintain meticulous records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, safeguarding client confidentiality and documenting progress efficiently.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona is mandatory.
• Proven experience in providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and groups across various settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to therapy, with a commitment to client advocacy.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are vital for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Ability to work autonomously while being an engaged member of a remote team.
• Flexibility to adapt scheduling to accommodate clients' diverse needs.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, as it enhances the ability to navigate digital counseling environments.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective documentation and client management.
• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to enrich your counseling techniques.
• Knowledge of mental health regulations and best practices to ensure compliance in telehealth services.

Compensation

We are proud to offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually based on your experience and the caseload you can manage.
