Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate telehandlers and forklifts.
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials and equipment.
- Transport pallets, bins, products, and other items to designated locations.
- Cook clearly by radio, cell phone, and hand signals when working around others.
- Complete pre-use equipment inspections and promptly report any safety or mechanical issues.
- Keep traffic lanes, storage areas, and work zones clear, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Absorb other operational tasks when equipment is not in use.
- Perform other related duties based on daily business and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Valid telehandler and/or forklift certification required.
- At least two years of experience operating a telehandler, forklift, or both in a construction or manufacturing environment.
- Ability and willingness to operate both types of equipment based on operational needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate clearly and respectfully with others.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and self-motivated.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work as needed.
Position Type and Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Start time: 6:00 a.m.
- Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
- Saturday work may be required based on operational needs.
Pay And Other Compensation
- Pay range: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
- The actual starting rate will be based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, certifications, and skills.
- This position is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable federal and state law.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- This position is performed primarily outdoors in an active manufacturing environment.
- The employee may be exposed to changing weather conditions, moving vehicles and equipment, noise, dust, and uneven surfaces.
- The position requires the ability to remain alert, safely enter and exit equipment, and lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
