Telecommunications Project Manager - 174959

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Project Manager for a design services company specializing in mission‑critical systems. The position is based in Ashburn, VA, with the flexibility to run job sites from your local area to keep the commute reasonable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of integrated infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
• Assist the project superintendent and engineering team in preparing project documentation, layout, and field office support.
• Prepare design/build project estimates based on design criteria.
• Meet with customers to present proposals and cost estimates.
• Coordinate acquisition of all materials, monitoring tools, and equipment requirements with the project team and warehouse.
• Manage overall financial aspects of projects, including cash flow and manpower needs.

Qualifications

• 3‑5+ years of hands‑on construction experience specific to telecommunications.
• Experience creating project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Excel.
• Experience in project estimation (e.g., change orders) or completing new job takeoffs.
• Understanding of structured cabling projects such as CAT 5, CAT 6, as well as OSP and ISP cabling.

Compensation

$100,000 – $130,000, based on experience.
