Telecommunication Officer Per Diem

About the role

We are accepting applications for a per diem Public Safety Telecommunications Officer in the Madison Police Department.

Responsibilities

• Recording telephone communications
• Receiving and relaying radio messages to various vehicles/personnel
• Other duties as assigned

Pay

$22.50 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associates degree or higher preferred
• Three (3) years of experience in public safety telecommunications preferred
• Bilingual with Spanish a plus
• Must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to multitask and work shifts including weekends and holidays
