Troubleshoot telephone and data lines

Troubleshoot telephone and data lines
Run CAT6 data cable and terminate and test
Set out telephones and data lines for events
Provide maintenance on various telephone closets and enclosures
Maintain organization and cleanliness in telephone/IT rooms
Track inventory of telephone and wiring and related supplies
Assist IT and Telecom Techs as necessary
All other duties as assigned

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Knowledge of telephone systems and simple data systems is a plus
• Able to carry ladders and boxes of data wire
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
