Schedule Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Pay Rate $30 per hourDiagnose and resolve moderate telecommunications, network, and device issuesInstall, replace, and maintain telecom hardware, software, cabling, and related equipmentSupport the administration and maintenance of telecommunications systemsConfigure and verify access switches and basic network settingsInstall and maintain cabling, data jacks, and device connectionsTroubleshoot local network outages, device failures, and client VPN connectivity issuesPerform approved changes in alignment with change management processesCoordinate cabling installations with Facilities and external vendorsAnalyze voice and data communication needs and document requirementsCommunicate effectively with customers to understand and support their telecom needsParticipate in technical discussions and support network infrastructure improvementsMaintain working knowledge of voice systems, analog services, and Avaya Communication Manager/System ManagerMinimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required2+ years of experience supporting telecom networks2+ years of experience troubleshooting telecommunications issues and handling hardware, software, and cabling installs/replacementsSolid understanding of telecommunications concepts and principlesExperience with network and voice troubleshooting methodologiesAbility to explain key differences between voice features and equipment in a clear, professional mannerKnowledge of analog services, including on-premise systems and carrier-provided POTSExperience with Avaya Communication Manager and Avaya System Manager Johns Hopkins Health System and its affiliates are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
