Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete discipline engineering designs and supporting documentation such as calculations.
  • Coordinate and prepare calculations, specifications, reports, design details, plans, and drawings within assigned task areas.
  • Interface with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects as required.
  • Adhere to project scope, schedule, and budget on all assigned projects.
  • Establish, promote, and assure quality on all project work.
  • Follow up on construction issues with field engineers to help resolve problems and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Attend group meetings with staff as required.
  • Incorporate safe work practices into all activities.
  • Aid in project execution, work processes, and procedures to help continually improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Use strong verbal and written communication skills with team members and clients.
  • Possess knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related, from an ABET accredited college or university is required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in 69kV to 500kV substation Telecom design is required.
  • EIT is preferred.

Qualifications

Must possess knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
