Tele-Psychiatrist Opportunity | 7on7off
Novant Health is seeking a Tele-psychiatrist to support a system-wide 24/7 telepsychiatry program serving emergency department and medical/surgical floor patients across the hospital system in North and South Carolina.
About the Role
- Fully remote position with no onsite clinical requirement
- 7-on/7-off schedule
- Standard 12-hour shift with a set start time negotiable
- Supports a therapy-first model including timely psychiatric consultation, evaluation, documentation, and collaboration with hospital teams and advanced practice providers in a virtual care model
- Patient population: all ages
- On-call duty required
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide psychiatric consultation and evaluation
- Complete documentation in a timely manner
- Collaborate with hospital teams and advanced practice providers (APP supervision required)
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
- Must hold a NC and SC Medical License
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
- Current DEA license required
