Responsibilities
- Performing patient exams virtually with onsite nursing staff
- Entering admission orders
- Prescribing medications
- Documentation of patient diagnosis, treatment plan, etc. using the hospital's EMR
- Communicating with patients, nursing staff and consulting with ED physicians on site
Requirements
- Board-certified internal medicine or family medicine physician
- A minimum of 4 years of hospital medicine experience
- A North Carolina medical license
Qualifications
- Experience with telemedicine technology
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
