Teen Health Education Internship

About the role

We are recruiting for programming in the following areas: Ardmore, Davis, Dickson, Kingston, or Madill, OK. The program runs 8+ hours per week during the academic year 2026-2027. Stipends and college credit are available.

Responsibilities

• Develop Strong Relationships
• Assess Schools' Needs and Progress
• Manage Teens Make Health Happen Clubs
• Share and Make Aware
• Commit to the HealthCorps Mission
• Represent HealthCorps in Southern Oklahoma

Requirements

• An undergraduate or graduate college student majoring in, or interested in public health, public policy, biology, nutrition, marketing, psychology, education, social work or other related fields
• A commitment of 8+ hours each week to the mentorship for the entire academic year
• A self-expectation and strong desire to grow personally and professionally as a leader in the community, and as a speaker who is comfortable in learning and presenting on health-related topics to a teen audience

Qualifications

• In good academic standing with your university

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
