Qualifications

• Between 2 and 5 years of experience in automotive repair
• One or more ASE certifications (preferred)
• Tech training in automotive mechanics (desirable)
• Knowledge of brake, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
• Ability to perform intermediate level diagnostics
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform physical activities required for the job

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate level repairs and diagnostics, ensuring each vehicle is repaired to the highest standards of quality
• Execute oil changes, preventive maintenance, and other intermediate level mechanical repairs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and equipment
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify additional repairs that contribute to safety and reliability
• Accurately record completed jobs, parts used, and repair times in the company's system
• Work collaboratively with Service Advisors to clearly explain each vehicle's repair needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Comply with operational procedures and safety policies
• Participate actively in ongoing technical training and development programs
