About the role
Seeking a dynamic and innovative Technology Teacher to lead and support our elementary students in developing essential technology skills. The ideal candidate will foster creativity, critical thinking, and ethical use of technology in alignment with Catholic values.
Responsibilities
- Teach technology classes to students in Grades PRK–8
- Develop and implement an engaging, age-appropriate technology curriculum
- Integrate faith-based values and digital citizenship into instruction
- Support teachers in integrating technology across the curriculum
- Maintain and manage classroom technology resources (Chromebooks, interactive boards, etc.)
- Introduce students to topics such as:
- Basic computer skills and keyboarding
- Digital literacy and online safety
- Coding and problem-solving
- Multi-media projects and presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Technology, or related field
- Teaching certification (or eligibility) preferred
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Strong knowledge of educational technology tools and platforms
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Google Workspace for Education and classroom management systems
- Background in STEM or coding instruction
