Technology Teacher (7th-12th) at Oakside Prep Academy

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide K-12 student technology instruction.
• Ensure educational technology at the school is operational and well-managed.
• Allocate approximately 90% of the time to student technology instruction and 10% to building-wide technology administration and support.
• Create future-ready, digitally literate learners who are able to use technology to complete current assignments, transition into the digital workflow expectations of high school, and explore emerging technologies foundational to STEM careers.
• Manage the deployment and life-cycle of NHA-provided hardware.
• Perform intermittent troubleshooting to the hardware and network infrastructure.
• Manage the Clever Student Portal to help students access online educational applications.
• Customize online access for students at their school by managing Chrome settings via the Google Admin Console.
• Act as the State Testing Technology Coordinator.
• May be asked to act as the Lead NWEA MAP Testing Proctor.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements.
• NHA will support you through your alternative certification journey.
• Knowledge and experience in education technologies.
