Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning Executive Communications
- Develop clear, forward-looking strategic deliverables, including technology and market trend analyses, technology outlooks, strategic recommendations, and executive presentations.
- Translate complex technical and business insights into concise, actionable content for senior leaders.
- Ensure strategy materials are data-driven, decision-ready, and aligned with CTO organization priorities.
- Technology Foresight Long-Term Research Strategy
- Help define Lenovo’s 2–5 year technology and research focus areas, including domains such as AI models and agents, smart devices, next-generation computing platforms, component innovation, Agent Frameworks, and Agentic Operating Systems.
- Conduct external technology and market analysis while assessing internal capabilities and competitive positioning.
- Synthesize diverse inputs into prioritized recommendations that inform research roadmaps, investment decisions, and business group alignment.
- Cross-Functional Alignment Governance
- Partner with RD, engineering, product, and research teams to align strategic priorities, technical requirements, and execution plans.
- Support governance processes and executive forums, including annual planning activities, technology brainstorming sessions, and technology committee meetings.
- Drive clarity around decisions, ownership, action items, and follow-through across stakeholder groups.
- Portfolio Management Execution Visibility
- Monitor progress, dependencies, risks, and key milestones for strategic technology initiatives, including flagship AI programs and emerging technology investments.
- Identify and escalate issues proactively while facilitating cross-functional resolution.
- Maintain leadership reporting, OKR alignment, and portfolio visibility to support informed decision-making and execution excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Technology Management, or a related field.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, technology strategy, product strategy, or a related strategic planning function.
- Demonstrated knowledge of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, smart devices, semiconductor/chipset technologies, and hardware system innovation.
- Proven ability to evaluate complex technology landscapes and develop strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

- Strong executive communication and presentation skills, including experience developing materials for senior leadership audiences.
- Excellent collaboration and influence skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong business acumen combined with technical curiosity and strategic thinking.
