Technology Specialist - Automotive Systems

Earnhardt Lexus in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual to join one of the largest and most exciting automotive groups in Arizona. Applicants must be 18 years or older and must have a current and valid domestic driver’s license (AZ preferred) with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Be a modern technology expert for both dealership personnel and customers
• Offer face-to-face help, device setups, software troubleshooting, and act as technical liaison for Lexus customers
• Provide concierge-level personal support when customers have problems or questions
• Pair customer’s phone and demonstrate voice command
• Demonstrate vehicle features (Adaptive Cruise Control, Navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto)
• Demonstrate informational videos to customers
• Understand and review “Glovebox” material such as the Lexus owner’s manual, quick reference guide, warranty, etc.
• Introduce the customer to the service department, schedule, and review the “First Service Appointment” need-to-know details
• Offer a follow-up appointment to revisit features on the vehicle, as needed
• Perform vehicle walk-around (white-glove delivery)
• Ensure customer complete satisfaction with vehicle and delivery
• Ensure Perfect Process Delivery and complete owner-orientation paperwork
• Follow-up and check-in with customers
• Build customer rapport that keeps them returning to Earnhardt Lexus for expertise and a kind customer experience

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Excellent relationship-building skills
• High degree of interest in technology and ability to explain it in layman’s terms
• Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
• 2 to 5 years of customer service experience
• Experience with logistics and lot management (a plus)
• Ability to multi-task
