About the role
This position is responsible for providing technical support for end-user devices, enterprise applications, telecommunications, audio/visual systems, and other technology services used throughout the City.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Support user accounts and devices
- Aid with access control and camera systems
- Provide technical assistance to City staff
- Collaborate with other IT staff to support reliable technology operations and maintain high customer service standards
Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field preferred
- One year of experience providing technical support for computers, software applications, mobile devices, or other business technology systems preferred
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), ITIL Foundation, or other related certifications preferred
- Valid Texas Class C Driver License
- Pass a standard background check, as well as a background check through the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and a drug screen
