About the Role

We are seeking a DC Operations Engineer with 8-10 years of experience to support critical infrastructure and operations. This role involves Linux administration, Oracle database management, automation, and troubleshooting in a high-pressure, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems
• Perform Oracle database performance analysis and SQL troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation
• Apply networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers) to resolve operational issues
• Utilize monitoring and observability tools to ensure system reliability
• Own incidents end-to-end, including resolution and communication during critical outages
• Collaborate with global, distributed teams to improve processes and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• 8-10 years of relevant experience
• Strong Linux administration skills
• Experience with Oracle databases, including performance tuning and SQL troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and automation
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers)
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, hybrid architectures)
• Experience with data/reporting platforms (Cognos, Power BI)
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex, multi-layer issues
• Experience with enterprise WMS systems, particularly Manhattan (optional)
