TECHNOLOGY ED TEACHER - 209 DAY

Full-time, 209-day position located in Dumfries, VA.

About the role

This position plans and implements an instructional program and provides related educational services for students. The role manages student behavior, assesses and evaluates student achievement, and modifies instructional activities as required. It also involves carrying out a variety of student monitoring and control activities.

This role serves as a general education classroom teacher, with classes that may be single or multi-grade level, subject, skill, or specialty oriented. Duties are typically performed within a team or departmental setting but may involve working independently in a unique teaching specialty. The position may be assigned to science labs, industrial arts/technology labs, or other education labs where heightened monitoring is required to reduce the risk of accidental injury to students.

An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site. This position performs work under the general supervision of a principal and/or other designated administrator.
