Technical Hiring Criteria (Must Haves)
- Advanced Java (Java 11/17 preferred)
- Spring Boot / Microservices Architecture
- REST APIs and Distributed Systems
- Data & Streaming: Apache Kafka, Apache Flink
- Databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent), Cassandra, Redis
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- CI/CD Practices
- Git and Version Control
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend applications using Advanced Java.
- Build and optimize microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Develop and maintain real-time data streaming and event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka and Apache Flink.
- Design efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms using Cassandra, Redis, and SQL databases.
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage workloads on Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Architects, DevOps, and QA engineers.
- Implement performance tuning, monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
- Ensure application reliability, scalability, and security following engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Required Skills

- Experience with large-scale distributed data platforms
Education
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Experience
- Experience building enterprise-scale backend platforms.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native and containerized environments.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and distributed computing.
- Experience handling high-volume transactional and streaming workloads.
- Exposure to agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
