About the role
Willis Knighton Radiology is seeking a full-time x-ray technologist for their Radiology Department.
Responsibilities
- Operating radiographic and PACS equipment to produce quality images
- Following radiation safety guidelines
- Communicating effectively with patients and caregivers
- Assisting radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures
- Proper documentation
Requirements
- Registered X-ray Technologist with ARRT
- Radiologic Technology license from LSRTBE
- Reliable, trustworthy, organized, compassionate, and excellent judgment
Qualifications
- Educationally qualified as per the requirements
Skills
- Proficient in radiographic and PACS equipment operation
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to assist in fluoroscopic procedures
- Strong documentation skills
