Technologist - Ultrasound Certified PRN

About the role

This role involves performing imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology standards to assist in diagnosing and treating diseases.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of radiologic principles
• Select appropriate techniques and positioning
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Document procedures to ensure compliance with policies
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition
• Participate in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (or a new graduate awaiting registry)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire
• Recent sonography experience preferred
