About the Role
Performs imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and therapy.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of radiologic principles, applying appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols.
- Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
- Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
- Achieves assigned goals and responsibilities effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Basic computer skills required; state licensure as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Registry in Vascular Interventional (ARRT VI).
