Job Summary
Willis Knighton Radiology is seeking a per-diem x-ray technologist for their Interventional Radiology Department.
Responsibilities
- Operating radiographic and PACS equipment to produce quality images
- Following radiation safety guidelines
- Communicating effectively with patients and caregivers
- Assisting radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures
- Proper documentation
- Circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures
- Patient teaching
- Assisting with patient care within the scope of practice
- Inventory management
- Schedule coordination
Requirements
- Registered X-ray Technologist with ARRT
- Licensed in Radiologic Technology by the LSRTBE
Qualifications
- Reliable, trustworthy, organized, compassionate
- Excellent judgment
