Technologist - Radiology: Pain Management

Job Summary Operates radiology equipment to perform routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Performs radiologic procedures using proper technical and safety protocols.Uses judgment to select appropriate settings for each patient.Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans in accordance with hospital guidelines.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintains equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas in a safe, clean condition.Participates in performance improvement activities and collects quality data.Achieves assigned goals and performs additional duties as needed. Qualifications Completion of a Radiology Technology Program.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R)) in Radiography or a recent graduate awaiting registry.Preferred: Associate's degree in a related field. Skills & Licensure Thorough understanding of radiologic principles and techniques.Ability to follow instructions, plan, and organize work.Licensure: ARRT(R); BLS certification within 14 days of hire; state license as required.
