Technologist - Nights PRN

About the role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Also performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Applies thorough knowledge of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
• Develops and implements procedure or treatment plans adhering to hospital protocols.
• Documents procedures to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition for patient and staff safety.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold care standards.
• Completes assigned goals effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area, meeting CT competencies.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography; CT registration preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Basic computer literacy skills required; additional licensure such as state license and ARRT(CT) preferred.
