About the Role
Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Ensures optimal imaging results through proper technique and positioning.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements appropriate procedures and treatment plans according to hospital protocols.
- Completes accurate documentation to adhere to policies.
- Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Achieves assigned goals and ensures procedures are performed effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area, meeting MRI competencies.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R); MRI registry preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Basic computer skills and appropriate licensure, including state licensing if applicable.
- New graduates must obtain registry within 60 days of hire.
