Technologist - MRI

About the role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Executes assigned duties effectively, ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of radiologic principles, applying appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
• Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following hospital protocols.
• Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a clean, safe condition.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold care standards.
• Achieves assigned goals efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area, meeting MRI competencies.
• Registered by ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) preferred; BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• Licenses as required, including ARRT(R), ARRT(MR), and state licensing.
