Responsibilities

• Operating imaging equipment to perform routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians
• Selecting appropriate technical settings
• Developing treatment plans
• Implementing protocols in compliance with established standards
• Maintaining equipment
• Ensuring a safe and clean environment
• Participating in performance improvement activities
• Coordinating patient scheduling
• Supervising workflow
• Providing clinical instruction and training to staff
• Overseeing quality control testing
• Ensuring proper documentation for regulatory compliance
• Troubleshooting technical issues

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in mammography
• Completion of an accredited radiography program; an associate degree is preferred
• Demonstrates thorough understanding of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning
• Registered by ARRT in radiography
• BLS certification required shortly after hire
• State licensure as applicable
