Technician - VW Service Centre

About the role

The Volkswagen Group offers opportunities for lifelong careers with Fish Brothers (Swindon) Limited, a multi-franchise car dealer group based in Swindon. This position involves working in the approved Volkswagen workshop, maintaining vehicles, performing inspections, repairs, and services, and liaising with Service Advisors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles, perform inspections, repairs, and services
• Liaise with Service Advisors and customers
• Carry out analysis, diagnostics, and road testing of vehicles
• Create a bespoke and excellent customer experience
• Generate innovative solutions to problems

Requirements

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Service and Repair or equivalent
• Main dealership experience advantageous, but welcome applications from independent garages, fast fit centers, or car supermarkets
• Comfortable working with others, able to build relationships, and generate innovative solutions

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical role within a dealership or similar environment
• Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills

Pay

£35,000+ dependant on experience

Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Saturday on rota)
