As a Water Technician Trainee, you'll work with smart, passionate people to solve complex problems using innovative solutions, helping to create a digital environment that modernizes and improves utility operations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in one of three essential maintenance programs: Valve Exercise, Fire Hydrant Maintenance, or Blowoff Maintenance.
• Complete a 3‑month trainee program designed to set you up for success with clear pathways for career growth.
• Advance to Water Technician 1 upon meeting program expectations.
• Work along busy streets, highways, and residential roads in high‑traffic areas, following strict safety protocols and watching for roadside hazards.
• Adapt to outdoor challenges including embankments, uneven terrain, wet conditions, high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures.

Pay

Compensation: $19 - $22 per hour depending on experience
