Technician Team Lead

Salary range: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

Schedule: 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM), Monday through Friday. Flexibility may be required to support production needs, including occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train quality technicians on procedures related to testing, communication, and lab best practices.
• Distribute workflow to other technicians on the shift.
• Verify quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products using established methods; perform calculations to determine adjustments for conformance.
• Prepare laboratory reagents; file retain samples in appropriate holding areas.
• Enter test data into SAP system; file vendor certifications and raw material and production inspections.
• Communicate with Operations team regarding calculations and adjustments needed for batches.
• Monitor and calibrate Quality Control equipment.
• Participate in general housekeeping, including routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Communicate daily with Quality Control Manager regarding issues and updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related science field required.
• 3+ years of proven laboratory testing experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using SAP computer system is a plus.
