Responsibilities
- Ensure products are packaged safely and accurately for shipment in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy prior to packaging.
- Label, seal, and pack items according to specifications.
- Operate packaging equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.

Packaging Workstation
- Auto Bagger: Enter production order information into the system, retrieve parts from the presentation area, and transport them to the workstation. Place parts into automated bowls that feed items into bags and/or manually feed into bags as required. Complete a first-piece inspection at the start of each order. Transfer full totes of packaged parts to a pallet box.
- Hand Bagger: Input production order information into the system, retrieve parts from the presentation area, and transport them to the workstation. Package parts manually into bags. Complete a first-piece inspection. Load totes of bagged parts into a pallet box.
- Jones Machine: Enter production order information into the system, retrieve parts from the presentation area, and transport them to the workstation. Place parts into boxes supplied via conveyor. Complete a first-piece inspection. Fill totes with packed parts and load them into a pallet box.
- Hand Pack: Input production order information into the system, retrieve parts from the presentation area, and move them to the workstation. Pack parts according to production order requirements. Complete a first-piece inspection. Depending on job specifications, pack parts individually or as full totes and load them into pallet boxes or place them individually on pallets.
- Taper Line: Enter production order information into the system, retrieve parts from the presentation area, and transport them to the workstation. Pack parts according to production order requirements. Complete a first-piece inspection. Depending on specifications, pack parts individually or as full totes and load them into pallet boxes or place them individually on pallets.
- Hoist Line: Enter production order information into the system, retrieve parts from the presentation area, and move them to the workstation. Pack parts according to production order requirements. Complete a first-piece inspection. Pack parts individually or as full totes and load them onto pallets using a hoist or lift-assist device.
- Spider: Support all production areas by supplying raw materials to bagging stations, production lines, and machinery to ensure continuous workflow. Requires forklift operation and efficient material flow.

Environment
- The work environment is climate-controlled but can be noisy, with frequent heavy forklift traffic.
- Workers work collaboratively with others to ensure production is maintained at the required pace throughout the shift.

- Must be able to maintain good attendance including working overtime as required.

- Must be able to consistently meet production, safety and quality standards.
- Must be able to safely and effectively perform all functions of the job as described in the physical job analysis listed below.
- Must be willing to participate in daily pre-work stretching program.
- Must be willing to assume other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as described in the standardized work instructions.
- Must be able to comply with customer requirements (ex. Shipping instructions, packaging requirements, etc.).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
