Technician/Senior Technician IT Infrastructure Operations
About the role
This position monitors and manages the configuration of the fleet of workstations and servers, develops automation to remediate known device vulnerabilities, and maintains application installs and upgrades under the direction of the Manager.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and configure Cisco routers, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, and VoIP devices.
- Configure and troubleshoot network security solutions such as ISE, VPN, etc.
- Manage local and wide area networks.
- Implement and maintain network performance and management tools.
- Manage IP management solutions.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 0 to 3 years of work experience in information technology supporting Cisco Network Operating Systems (Technician).
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of work experience in information technology supporting Cisco Network Operating Systems (Senior).
- Proficiency and expertise with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with network load balancing, virtualization solutions, and network security solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative style.
- Understanding of contractual agreements.
- Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion.
- Knowledge of business process management.
