Technician - Quality Controlw

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of inspections to support all phases of assembly and manufacturing, including subcontracted and purchased parts.
• Apply thorough knowledge of blueprint reading/interpretation, mathematics, instrument reading, and wiring diagrams.
• Use basic measuring equipment and instruments to conduct continuity checks on various assemblies and components; demonstrate basic personal computing literacy.
• Understand and apply the workmanship acceptance criteria used on the production floor.
• Maintain accurate, neat, and legible documentation of all inspection paperwork, including errors or discrepancies identified.
• Follow correct procedures and safety precautions to prevent damage to equipment or material and to avoid injury to self or others.
• Lift up to 40 pounds as required.
• Keep the work/inspection area neat and orderly.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow work instructions and read blueprint readings/interpretations.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to identify discrepancies.
• High school diploma (no degree required).
• Preference for candidates with an active Secret clearance; previously held clearance acceptable. Supplier will initiate interim clearance process at the offer stage.

Skills

• Active J‑STD‑001 certification.
• Active IPC‑610 certification.
