Technician - Portland OR

About the role

Temco Logistics, the fastest-growing appliance delivery and installation company in the U.S., is expanding in Perth Amboy, NJ! We’re looking for motivated individuals who want to drive less, install more, and grow with a company that values hard work, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
• Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, etc.).
• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.
• Connect basic water lines, valves, and electrical components.
• Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols.

Requirements

• MUST be 21+ years of age
• Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred)
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus!)
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical
• Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement

Pay

The pay range for this position is between $45,000.00 – $65,000.00. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.

Schedule

Onsite – These roles offer the opportunity to be part of a team at a specific physical location. Associates in these positions work in person at a local store, warehouse, or office, supporting daily operations and building strong relationships with their teams.
