Technician (Part Time Casual) - Conference Systems Inc.

About the role

As a Technician at Conference Systems Inc. (CSI), you will be responsible for the setup and operation of equipment on show sites while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Ensure flawlessly executed events through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of equipment.
• Customer Service: Exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers. Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication. Meet with clients on-site to ensure their needs are met and equipment setup is functioning properly.
• Technical Ability: Demonstrate operational ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues. Handle equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner.
• Systems Knowledge: Understand company processes, follow procedures, and complete systems entry and paperwork accurately. Use equipment sheets to determine scheduled setups and strikes. Interact with staff and outside vendors for equipment needs. Complete order entries in Navigator as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (required).
• Associate’s degree (preferred).
• 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience (preferred).
• 2+ years of equipment experience or equivalent in an educational environment (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license (required for team members operating Company vehicles).

Work Environment

Work is performed primarily in an office environment, with irregular hours and on-call status, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore. This position may require up to 30% travel.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $18.77 - $24.40. Compensation is determined based on qualifications, location, travel, relevant work experience, and skills. Some positions may be eligible for overtime, bonuses, or incentives.
